About Nicole Yearwood

Nicole Yearwood is a children’s author from Ontario, Canada, and the creative heart behind The Chronicles of Cooper and Chloe. Inspired by her two mischievous (but oh-so-lovable) cats, Cooper and Chloe, Nicole brings their quirky personalities to life in stories that help kids celebrate their individuality, embrace differences, and laugh along the way.

Before diving into writing, Nicole studied interior design, which sharpened her creative eye and love of beautiful spaces. Today, her passions extend to fitness, health and wellness, and the joy of exploring new places around the world.

At home, Nicole shares life with her husband, teenage son, and of course, her two furry muses. Whether she’s chasing adventures abroad or enjoying cozy family time, she always finds fresh inspiration for her stories.

Her debut picture book, Don’t All Cats Eat Chicken?, encourages children to be true to themselves and reminds families that it’s our differences that make us special.

About The Book:
Don’t All Cats Eat Chicken?

What started as a simple idea grew into a beautiful companion to the typical bedtime ritual. Cooper and Chloe are a pivotal part of the Yearwood family home, and their shenanigans inspired the idea to bring their personalities to life on the pages of a real book.

As a mom in a blended family of four kids, Nicole is no stranger to the bedtime routine, and she wanted to combine her love for bedtime stories with her love for her playful cats, Cooper and Chloe.

Don’t All Cats Eat Chicken?” is an ode to her two loveable cats, and the first story in The Chronicles of Cooper and Chloe series is a beautiful message about embracing who you are and trusting your own preferences, no matter what.
